      Yes. Eventually. But there will be lots of ethical issues along the way.

      Probably, however at the moment the technology may have side effects. Dolly the sheep developed arthritis at the age of 4.

      Not really sure. It all depends on whether peoples opinions change regarding the matter. Another thing that is kind of like cloning is teleportation. This is where an object is transported from one place to another, like in star-trek. This is a real area of research and a man called Anton Zeilenger in Austria is successfully teleporting particles across the river Danube there.
      The reason it is like cloning is because what’s really going on is the object must be destroyed while its information is being read, then the object is recreated at the new location. So the teleported object (or person) is like a clone of the original except it is a true identical clone. Every quantum property is identical to the original so they are indistinguishable.
