• Question: How can we make recycling easier?

      Ireland is one of the best countries in Europe at recycling. I think we could be even better if there was not so much packing on everything. Lots of things we buy in shops have layers of needless plastic.

      I agree with Joe, less packaging would be helpful.

      If one paid a small deposit on all packaging, then it would be in the interest of the consumer to recycle.

      I sometimes run at Castletown house, an OPW site. Last time I found 50-100 beer cans in a wood. Now, if beer cans all came with a 20 cent deposit, I am sure they would be picked up.
