      Probably. But we haven’t found evidence of any yet. But I think we’re getting closer.

      I think it would be foolish to rule out the possibility. Best to stay open on this and if we do find evidence of life elsewhere, it would be the greatest discovery in the history of science.

      I would say it is almost definite. The numbers of possibilities are just too big for there not to be. And we should find them soon. It is a really exciting time to be around if you are interested in finding aliens. We have discovered hundreds of new planets around nearby stars over the last few years. And the new space telescope that I am working on should be able to measure what’s in the atmospheres of some of these planets. These measurements could give us information about whether there is life on the planet.

      I would have to say yes. It is a really really big universe and there are so many other planets around other stars that it is hard to imagine that we are the only planet in the universe that evolved life.
