• Question: will the world ever end ?

      Yes. Definitely. In about 5 billion years the Sun will run out of fuel, will expand outwards and engulf the Earth. But we might have found another way to destroy our planet before then.

      And if we escape the sun engulfing the earth the BIG RIP may get us in 16.7 billion years. With the Universe gone, hard to imagine where we will be able to hide.

      Good question grozmanas,
      I think the other guys answered this well. Hopefully we will have collonised many other planets in other star systems before the sun dies in 5 billion years!

      YES! In about 5 billion years the Sun will run out of its main fuel. This is a really long time away and you shouldn’t worry about it, it is 5,000,000,000 years from now, we will have travelled to new planets by then.
