Voyager, launched 1977, has recently left the solar system. Is this what you meant?

Voyager 1 is the furthest man made object ever, it is now at the edge of the known solar system. It will be the first man made object to leave the solar system and head into deep space.

Yes as two of the other guys said Voyager 1 and 2 are the furthest probes from Earth. They carry on them gold plated disks that have recordings of greetings in many languages and pictures that explain who we are and where we are. This is in case any aliens come across them. The Pluto probe Horizon is the fastest moving man-made probe so it will eventually overtake the Voyagers to be the furthest object away fro Earth.
What is amazing about Voyager 2 is that it is still transmitting a detectable signal 36 years later!
