• Question: do you ever blow stuff up when you do experiments

      I’m very sorry to say…I don’t! Nothing has been too wild so far..during my degree I once did an experiment where I completely broke the equipment (I would like to publicly apologise to the lab technician again! :p) but sadly there have been no flames or explosions. I made a comet last year for my 4th year demonstration and used a lot of dry ice which puffed everywhere and looked really cool though! When I held it up to the light it gave off a kind of “tail” which was really similar to an actual comet, but that is the most action – packed thing I have done I’m afraid!
